Calculate the halt-polling "stop" time using "start" instead of redoing ktime_get(). In practice, the numbers involved are in the noise (e.g., in the happy case where hardware correctly predicts do_halt_poll and there are no interrupts, "start" is probably only a few cycles old) and either approach is perfectly ok. But it's more precise to count any extra latency toward the halt-polling time. Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
