tpm2_pcr_extend() is used by trusted keys to extend a PCR to prevent a key from being re-loaded until the next reboot. To use this functionality securely, that extend must be protected by a session hmac. This patch adds HMAC protection so tampering with the tpm2_pcr_extend() command in flight is detected. Linux kernel
============
There are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can
be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read
Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the reStructuredText markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
